accidentally kills a bounty hunter in her condo. Ronan Riley, another
“thirteen” telekinetic-sorcerer, and his doppelganger—a dying faery—waltz into her
life
claiming she’s the gateway key to the Forbidden magical races. Hell, everyone knows that faeries and the Forbidden are extinct!
Aria’s thrust into a romantic
triangle while dodging mercenaries and screwy magic from San Jose to
Seattle in her race to fix a gateway before tainted fae magic kills the
doppelgangers…and opens the floodgates to the world’s abolished magic.
Destroying Ronan’s father, the mastermind behind the mayhem, will
just have to take a back seat. If Aria’s freaky luck cooperates, that is.
